So this blog is a follow up from our previous one where Wayne’s lowrider made an appearance in the photo shoot with Lavianne. I just had to get a few shots of his beaut on her own to truly appreciate the blood, sweat and tears that went into this build.
Wayne has had his ride since 2008 and has been working on her ever since, improving her looks and the way she drives. With that been said, let me give some info on what he has done and some of the specs.
1963 Chevy Impala Sports Sedan. 350 fuel injected v8 (5.7) married to a 350 turbo box. It sits low on an Air-Bag-it air suspension system, Firestone bags, Viair compressors, Air Lift gauges and tank. This is complimented by a set of custom 13″ reversed chrome wire wheels with gold nipples.
The bottom of the bodywork is pretty much as he bought it…. “I always had the desire to do a lace graphic on a lowrider” said Wayne and discussed the Idea with a painter friend of his, Dean September who also happens to own a few cool classic cars. Dean took the project under his wing and the two of us and his son spent almost an entire day getting the lines right. Dean knocked it out of the park.
These images don’t do the car as much justice as seeing it in person, this ride is sick and I would cruise in this whip on any given day. I can picture myself rolling down the streets like a Vato from Mexico, breaking necks where ever I may go.
Wayne added that a future aspirations include a touch up restoration of the rest of the body, a fresh classic interior and a sound system installation.
Thank You again Wayne for allowing us to capture your pride and Joy!
